    INCLUDED with the 17 acres is a main house, pool, guesthouse, and greenhouse. Most furniture is included.

    AIRBNB The guesthouse has been on Airbnb since 2023 and is ranked in the top 1% of homes by airbnb. The rankings are based on ratings, reviews and reliability. It brings in approximately $1500.00 US dollars each month.

    CORPORATION Property is held by a corporation allowing for ownership transfer by simple sale of stock

    SEPARATE UTILITIES for the main and guest houses provides several advantages: each has its own bill, making costs easier to manage; privacy is maintained without shared use; renting one doesn’t impact the other, giving more flexibility; buyers find it more attractive due to clear expenses; and maintenance on one won’t disturb the other. This setup makes living, renting, and selling easier and clearer.

    AMENITIES Unlike most Costa Rican homes, both the main house and guesthouse have air conditioning, window screens, and hot water in the kitchen and shower.

    CARETAKER It is possible to retain the current property caretaker who has managed the property for the past five years. She works 40 hours per week and is responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of both houses, as well as trimming the foliage and mowing the lawns.

  • The property is located approximately 2 ½ hours from Juan Santamaría International Airport in Alajuela, and 3 hours from Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport in Liberia.

    The small airport of La Fortuna (FON) also known as  Arenal Airport is a 25 minute drive and offers flights to Juan Santamaría International Airport as well as several other airports and beaches.

    Puntarenas is a port town and is the nearest beach which is just under 3 hours. The more popular beachtown of Jaco is approximately 3-4 hours.

    Private shuttles are readily available as an option for those who do not wish to drive.

This typical Costa Rican small town offers essential amenities like basic restaurants, a grocery store, bakery, hardware store, pharmacy, church, and basic services. It provides a peaceful, close-knit community with convenient access to daily needs and a welcoming, friendly atmosphere.

    La Fortuna, about 10 miles away, is a larger town offering even more amenities. Some of the amenities include nicer restaurants, live music, hotels, car rentals for various budgets, a medical clinic, a veterinarian, and travel agencies, providing a wider range of services and conveniences.

    Ciudad Quesada is an even larger town offering a wider variety of options. It is about 21 miles away and features specialty stores including fabric stores, flooring stores, sporting goods stores, and even a Walmart. There is also a hospital and speciality doctors in Ciudad Quesada.
